The Upper Valley vBeers is back! This time Microsoft MVP, Rob McShinsky is bringing us a sneak peek at what’s coming around the bend for Microsoft Windows Server vNext. Slated for release in 2016, Windows Server 10 brings many improvements to Hyper-V and failover clustering as well as new features such as Hyper-V Containers. Rob brings us all the details and first impressions of this exciting new release!
Rob McShinsky is a senior systems engineer at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with nearly 19 years of IT experience. He has been focused on server virtualization since 2004 and continues to specialize in server management and systems architecture design. Rob has been the development architect working closely with Microsoft as an early adopter and ongoing participant in TAP/RDP programs of Microsoft Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). This has included video and written case studies, acting as a customer reference, and speaking with industry analysts and vendors about Hyper-V and multiple System Center products. In addition, he has held the Microsoft MVP title since 2011 and blogs at VirtuallyAware.com, writing tips and documenting experiences with various virtualization products.
